Sales 3

Next up are deals at Chadwick's. Keep in mind that their clothing is cut "regularly," and they often don't give lengths for tops or blazers.

Cabled Sweatercoat - $34.99

Leaf Print Charmeuse Shirtdress - $29.99

Tall Washable Riding Skirt - $29.99

The skirt ran a size big for me. So, I looked at the size chart measurements, then went one size down to get the right one.

Sales 2

Some deals at Jessica London:

Washed-Linen bigshirt - $9.99 - $32.90

Linen Shirtjacket - $19.99

Tall Moleskin Big Shirt - $24.99

Trapunto-Stitch Tunic - $14.99 - $16.99 (3/4 sleeves)

Sleeveless Coatdress - $29.99

Tall Duster Dress - $59.99

Sales 1

Lots of retailers are having end-of-the-year clearance sales. Here are some deals at Roaman's:

Button trim duster pantsuit - $39.99

3-piece wardrober with chain back belt - $64.99

Duster shirt - $13.99

I have two of these - it's a heavy linen blend and rather long (check the length). I quite like them.

Wide headbands

I found some wide headbands at a local store and bought the two they had. I loved them, but unfortunately, the store never carried them again. So of course I then spent hours trying to find them on the internet. Luckily being a librarian pays off sometimes.

Cotton Stretch Headband - $2.95

Headband - $4.99

The next one has an unclear picture of the product, but it still sounds promising:

Polyester Headband - $4.75

Hint: if you want to wear one of these headbands under a scarf and can't stand the seam poking you (or maybe that's just me, lol), just pull the layers away from each other and adjust it so that the seam is at one end and the headband lays flat.

Swimsuits

I'd been admiring some Turkish swimsuits on this site, but the website didn't quite seem to be up to English business just yet. So, I was delighted to find another website that sells my favorites:

Modest Swim Suit 400429 - $82.99

Modest Swim Suit 400430 - $82.99

These two styles come in a variety of different colors. Don't worry; if you want full coverage, they have those as well.

Dickies

I've never been able to wear turtlenecks; they pull at my neck uncomfortably. Well, recently I came to the conclusion that I could solve the problem by wearing a turtleneck dicky instead. It worked! They're nice and loose, not uncomfortable, because the rest of the garment isn't pulling at the neck. If I'm going out, I just pin the back to get the neck to stay closed, no problem. I like lots of different colors, so although there are a lot of places out there with one or two colors, I tried to find stores that had a nice selection.

Turtleneck Dickies - $9.95

These are very nice and offer a little extra coverage in the front, if you need it.

The following two I haven't tried yet, but they look promising:

Full turtleneck dickies - $12.00

They don't have pictures of all the colors, but the colors seem pretty standardized.

Turtleneck Dickie - $6.75

Duster Pantsuit

I love this:

Plus size feminine duster pantset - Now: $24.99

It's only left in "Avocado" which is a bit sharper green rather than the swatch indicates, but I love the color. If you don't know Roaman's and think you know your size, be sure to check the size chart for measurements. The clothing does have more of a modest cut.
